A Letter to Little One!

Well, here we are another day of this writing challenge, Day 7 actually. I decided to call it an adventure instead of a challenge because it feels better to me. The word at times stirs up a myriad of negative visualizations. When I saw what I had to write about today, I felt good about it. So here goes:

Dear Little One:

As I sit here thinking about what I would say to you, my heart starts to beat faster and faster. Do I tell you about the crazy world we live in today with all its hatred, destruction, greed, selfishness or just plain old-fashioned evilness? On the other hand, do I tell you how beautiful the world is with its magnificent places the world over to see, caring people that lend a hand when others are in need and the joy of just living this life? When God created the earth, it was for his Glory and enjoyment and then he realized that of all the beautiful things He created upon the land, He was still lonely. God then made the decision to establish man in His image and likeness, which alone made man unique and, above all else. God blew the breath of life into man and man became a living soul and from that one of a kind moment, you were magnificently created with a purpose and a destiny. I want you know, above all else, that you have been established to do great, significant and powerful things in this world. Know matter what you experience in this life from your high and lows, pain and pleasure, test testimonies, you must always keep your eyes on the prize. What is the prize you may be wondering? The prize is doing what God desires for you to do, the way he planned, in the timing he planned it and for the reason he ordained it. Don’t let this world that focuses on self-gratification, cause you to strive for worldly riches and lose the most important thing in your life, and that is YOU. Remember always to know who you are, why you were created and what your assignment on this earth is. Once you know that, do not allow anyone to cause you to fall out of love with yourself. Don’t forget that it was God that allowed you to exist in the first place. Give him the glory, honor, praise and thanks that he so deserves. Just know that He is the reason you are here. As long as you remember not to take credit for what He did, your life even through its storms will turn into the best adventure you could have ever imagined in this world. I wish you all that your heart desires in this life but know that there is life after death. We are just vacationing here on earth for, after all, is said and done, let Heaven be your home. I will be waiting for you will an open heart, full spread arms, and unspeakable love.
